yarn over knitting help
how long should i pull the yarn out before casting on?
im knitting my sister a blanket for christmas (hopefully).
i was 1/4 done and broke my needles so i had to start over again and i got bigger needles now im not sure how much yarn to use to cast on. ive tried three times with guestimating, one was too short and the other was too long and now im afraid i didnt get enough again. i was going for over 200 stitches, just to make sure it was long enough.
any thing helps! thanks to all.
Pull out your yarn and if it is tooooo long I can understand your problem but if it's not too long cut the rest off.
