weaving in ends knitting
Need help understanding this pattern!(10 points!)?
I found this pattern I really wanna try but I can't really understand it. Can someone help me? Here's the pattern:
Instructions:
•CO 30 stitches
•Row 1: K1, *sl 1, K1, psso but before dropping the slipped stitch from the left needle, knit into the back of it* repeat until there is one stitch left, K1
•Row 2: *P2tog, do not slip stitches off the needle, purl the first stitch again, slip both stitches off needle*
•Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you run out of yarn.
•BO.
•Weave in all ends.

Row 1: (K1)Knit 1, *(sl 1) Slip 1 - Slip the next stitch from the left needle to the right needle by inserting your needle as if to purl and slip it over without knitting into it, (K1) knit the next stitch like normal, (psso) pass sliped stitch over last knitted stitch - insert your LEFT needle into the slipped stitch and pull it to the left over the last knitted stitch, in this instance, after you have moved the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, keep the slipped stitch on your left needle and knit into the back of it (the part of the loop that is behind the left needle) your needles will already be in the right position, just wrap the yarn as if to knit on the right needle and draw it through the slipped stitch on your left needle. Drop the slipped stitch from the left needle. * repeat.
Row 2: *(P2Tog), purl two together by inserting your right needle into the next 2 stitches purlwise and make a purl stitch, but before you drop the stitches from the left needle, insert your needle into the first stitch again and make another purl stitch. Drop both stitches off left needle. You will now have 2 purl stitches on your right needle that are crossing over each other..* repeat.
