felted slippers knitting pattern
DIY ballet slippers ??
Hi everyone! I'm a dancer and a crafter and I'm looking to sew my own ballet slippers. Not felted, knitted, or crocheted but SEWN...anyone know of some good patterns?

I would recommend against doing this because ballet slippers are very specialized. They are made to support your feet in a specific way and if you make your own, you may be hurting your feet in the long run. If you want to do something craftsy with ballet slippers, buy a pair and then add to it with embroidery or patches. But it's best to leave the slippers as they were made architecturally.
