How do you place markers at the beginning of knitting a felt bag on circular knitting. See below!?
I am knitting a felted bag on circular needles. After I cast on the 62 stitches the directions say, "Place a marker on one stitch at each side with 30 stitches each for both front and back." Could someone please tell me what this means and try to explain how to go about this?
The 62 stitches are correct...and I do know what knitting markers are however I guess I don't understand how to "Place a marker on one stitch at each side with 30 stitches each for both front and back." Do you count 30 stitches and then put a marker or what?
what you should do is buy stitch markers, they are alot easier to deal with.
