knitting changing needle size
Double-Pointed Needle Dilemma: Outside or Inside?
Okay all you sock & other double-pointed-needle knitters out there...it's time to stand up and be counted.
Do your knit on the outside (of the sock, sleeve, tube etc. you're making) or the inside? I used to knit on the outside, then was informed that I was "doing it wrong" so changed to working from the inside. Is there some mysterious reason to use one side or the other (size of stitches inside the tube vs. stitches outside of the tube.) Knitting on the outside seems easier, but I can do either one.

I prefer to knit from the outside, but have seen others knit on the inside. I don't think it makes any difference.
