different knitting yarns
fellow knitters, first I must confess I know nothing of knitting?
A friend of mine has volunteered to knit some christmas stockings for my family, as long as I go and retrieve the yarn, I notice now the different sizes of yarns, is it ok if they are not the same size, is it terribly bad 1 is a size 4 the other a size 3 I believe. will I have to do more shopping or can I make it work.
I know you don't really want to, but you will have to go ask your friend this question. If the 3 is for one stocking and the 4 is for another, it'll be fine. If they are both for the same stocking, it won't really work very well. Talk to this friend, and graciously take back and exchange anything that needs exchanging.
